We need to remember to speak up for ourselves. To stand up for what we need. My grandmother shouldn't have to demand a written/typed up copy of her rental agreement. When someone requests that of you, your response shouldn't be "well you need to call us so we can talk about it." NO! You can want us to call you, but we need these things to be tangible. Your voice in a "private setting" isn't tangible - it is just another way for you to manipulate the little guy into doing what you want as you rip them off.
So cut it out!
