A lot of us spent 2024 dreading the coming January for fear of the United States' Government unjustly blocking our First Amendment Rights. This is not the first time the U.S. has threatened to ban the ByteDance app, but it is certainly more anxiety-inducing this time around. So much information is being released about the proposed ban and how the government is handling it, it's no wonder everyone is looking for a reliable news source. At first everyone thought the beloved app would just fizzle out when updates would become unavailable, then we were scared into thinking it would just "go dark" on Sunday.
